Long space flights are characterized by unique stressors and demanding work conditions. Astronauts have learned valuable lessons from previous crews that can be applied to current missions and can be helpful to us as Canadians living and managing the effects of the pandemic. Dr. Robert Thirsk will describe behavioural skills (self-management, teamwork, leadership) that enhance personal well-being and crew productivity. The strategies used to ensure mission success in space are also applicable to organizational settings and home-isolations on Earth.
