Setting up a Teladoc account is quick and easy. Using the app will give you access to the 24/7 service and ensure that you have care at your fingertips when you need it.
To set up your account first download the Teladoc app from the App Store for Apple devices or Google Play for Android devices.
The app should appear with this icon:
It is important to make sure that you are downloading the Canadian version of the app. Check the description where there will be a mention of Canadian physicians.
Once you have it downloaded, launch the app to prompt a login screen. Scroll down and click on ‘Set Up Your Account’ and complete the requested information.
Note that your first and last names must be exactly what is listed on your certificate of insurance. For instance, if you go by Dave but on your certificate your name is David then, you must enter David. Your date of birth must be entered in MM/DD/YYYY format. Your postal code must also match what is on your file for your insurance.
Once this information is complete you will reach a screen that says Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan. This indicates that the system has your records. Tap on your plan and complete the registration.
If the screen instead requests more information and has a drop down box that has nothing in it then, the information that you provided doesn’t match what is in our system. Please go back and try again.
